About this pattern

The sword in the stone of the King Arthur legend as a soft pastel character. A sword stands upright in the top of a round, pale gray boulder edged in deeper gray: a straw gold pommel and cross-guard, a blue grip and a pale blue blade. A short crack runs down the stone beside the blade, with a tuft of green grass in front at each side. Low on the stone are two dark eyes, a one-stitch mouth and two pink blush marks. No dark outline; all but the crack mirrors left to right. The near-white stone shows little on white fabric. Full crosses only. It is 31 by 47 stitches and uses eight thread colors.

31 stitches wide by 47 high: 665 full cross stitches in 8 DMC colors (Very Light Pearl Gray 762, Light Steel Gray 318, Straw 3821 and 5 more).
