About this pattern

A round red paper lantern hanging on its cord, drawn to be stitched on black fabric. The globe is striped from top to bottom in two flat reds, bright red and dark garnet by turns, the stripes bowing out with the globe. A flat cream collar sits above and below it, a pale tan cord runs up from the top, and a red tassel with a dark red center stripe hangs from the lower collar. There is no outline: the black cloth is the edge of every shape, and the left side mirrors the right exactly. Full crosses only. It is 30 by 45 stitches and uses four thread colors.

30 stitches wide by 45 high: 698 full cross stitches in 4 DMC colors (Red 321, Medium Garnet 815, Ecru ECRU and 1 more).
