Which grid size to print
A grid of 10 squares per inch is the easy one to draw on: the squares are large, and every tenth line, the heavy one, falls on a whole inch. The chart is the same as on a finer grid, only bigger than the stitching will be. To draw a design at the size it will stitch, print the grid that matches your fabric: 10 squares per inch matches 20-count linen and evenweave stitched over two, and 14 squares per inch matches 14-count Aida.
How big a grid do I need?
One Letter sheet holds 72 × 96 squares at 10 per inch with numbered edges. A larger grid prints on several sheets that join on the heavy ten-square lines. To find the fabric for a finished design, use the fabric calculator.
