Cross stitch tool

14-count cross stitch graph paper

Blank grid paper at true size, to print.

Paper
Grid

101 × 134 squares, 7 1/4 × 9 5/8 in at 14 squares per inch, on one Letter sheet.

Print at 100% (actual size), not “fit to page”, so the squares measure true. Every tenth line is heavier, as on a chart.

Which grid size to print

Print the grid that matches your fabric and a design drawn on it comes out the size it will stitch: 14 squares per inch for 14-count Aida, or for 28-count linen and evenweave stitched over two. A larger grid, such as 10 per inch, is easier to draw on; the chart is the same, only bigger than the stitching.

How big a grid do I need?

One Letter sheet holds 101 × 134 squares at 14 per inch with numbered edges. A larger grid prints on several sheets that join on the heavy ten-square lines. To find the fabric for a finished design, use the fabric calculator.
