Asters needlepoint patterns

The posy for September: a spray of asters tied with a bow, stems that rise to carry the flowers at different heights in a loose dome.

It is drawn in several styles. All are four inches square on 18 mesh and can be made as a round ornament. Many small flowers make a long thread list, and levels run from intermediate to advanced.
