Finches needlepoint patterns

Most show an American goldfinch in profile, some with a thistle head beside it: a small bright bird with a neat dark cap.

It is drawn in several styles, and the folk art one shows a pair face to face. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, and some can be made round. A small bird is made of small patches, so count each one; levels run from beginner to advanced, so check the level on the page.
