Periwinkle needlepoint patterns

Most show a sprig of periwinkle in several styles: two or three flat flowers facing front, each with five blunt petals set askew like a pinwheel.

Each flower has a pale star or dot at the center. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, and three can be made round. The petals turn like a pinwheel, so within a flower they do not mirror: count each petal from the page.
