Sushi and ramen needlepoint patterns

The sushi begins with a nigiri: a block of rice with a slab of fish draped over it. The ramen is a red bowl of broth holding half an egg and a dark green square of seaweed, with two chopsticks lifting pale yellow noodles; the chopsticks are thin slanted lines, so count them first and hang the noodles from them. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, and most can be made round. Where rice is shaded with close pale colors, compare the threads before you start; some are marked advanced.
