About this pattern

A stone fireplace seen straight on, drawn to be stitched on black fabric. The mantel shelf, the surround and the hearth are pale gray, nearly white, with steel gray shadow under the shelf, round the arched opening and along the hearth's front. The firebox is bare black cloth; in it a red fire with a cream center burns on two dark red logs. Two red candles with cream flames stand in gray holders on the shelf, the left one taller. There is no outline. The stonework mirrors left to right; the fire and candles do not. Full crosses only. It is 40 by 45 stitches and uses five thread colors.

40 stitches wide by 45 high: 1,115 full cross stitches in 5 DMC colors (Very Light Pearl Gray 762, Light Steel Gray 318, Red 321 and 2 more).
