Back stitch draws a honeycomb, blanket stitch a flower of eight petals, buttonhole stitch a wheel of scallops, chain stitch a rosette of curling arms, colonial knots an eight-pointed star, coral stitch a dahlia, couching a flower of six petals, fishbone stitch a star of eight leaves, fly stitch a snowflake, French knots a wreath of berries, herringbone stitch a broad ring and Holbein stitch a flower inside a star.
