Baseball needlepoint patterns

Baseballs, among them one in front of two crossed bats and one alone as a round ornament: the ball a true circle with its two rows of stitching.

In front of the bats it is mirrored or nearly mirrored, and drawn in more than one style. Some show the ball in the pocket of a glove. All are four inches across on 18 mesh, the ornament round and the others square, and some of the squares can be made round. Where the ball lies on the bats its seams are single rows, so count the circle first and set the seams inside it. Each page gives its level.
