Bread needlepoint patterns

Most show a round sourdough loaf, a boule, seen from the side or a little from above: a domed loaf with its crust.

The loaf is drawn in several styles, all on a four-inch square for 18 mesh. Some can also be made as a round ornament, which suits a round loaf. Where the crust is shaded in close colors, compare the threads first; levels run from beginner to intermediate.
