Candy canes needlepoint patterns

Most show a candy cane, or two crossed or side by side, tied with a bow: a striped stick, straight for most of its length, with a crook at the top.

It is drawn in several styles. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, and most can be made as a round ornament. The stripes run on a slant, so they are counted as steps; most are marked intermediate.
