Carousel horse needlepoint patterns

Most show a carousel horse in profile on its pole, in the galloping pose, with a saddle and blanket, drawn in several styles.

The head is up and in some tucked, in some the front legs are bent and the hind legs stretched back, and some have a bridle. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, and most can be made round. The trappings take many small areas of color, so sort the threads before you start; some are marked advanced.
