Christmas tree needlepoint patterns

A decorated Christmas tree in five styles, upright and mirrored in outline, and a row of three bottle brush trees in four.

The decorated tree is a fir in tiers, and a mirrored tree is counted from its center line outward. The bottle brush trees stand in a row with the tallest in the middle, each on a tan stand and touched with white snow: one pink, one green and one teal or turquoise in three of the designs, and a seafoam green tree between two pink ones in the folk art design. Count the middle tree first and space the other two from it. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, and many can also be made as a round ornament. If the piece is meant for this year's tree, start early: finishing an ornament takes time on top of the stitching, whether you do it yourself or send it out.
