Cottage needlepoint patterns

Cottages seen straight on, among them an English country cottage, low and wide under a thick thatched roof, and an Easter cottage.

Both are drawn in several styles, all on a four-inch square for 18 mesh. The Easter cottage has a wreath on its door, flower boxes under its windows and eggs in the grass in front. A cottage has many small parts, from windows to thatch, and levels run from intermediate to advanced. Sort the threads first, and work the roof line and the walls before the details.
