Deer needlepoint patterns

Deer: a stag's head and neck facing front, a fawn lying down in profile with its head raised, a moose's head facing front, and reindeer in two styles.

The stag and the fawn are drawn in several styles, the moose in two. One reindeer stands in profile with a red nose and a red collar; the other, in a collar of bells, has a snowman's carrot nose in its mouth. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, and levels run from beginner to advanced. The stag's antlers are narrow lines, so count them before the background; they mirror, so work one side and repeat it in reverse.
