Heart needlepoint patterns

Hearts in many forms, among them plain hearts, hearts with arrows, paw prints in hearts, candy hearts, states with a heart and heart-shaped ornaments.

Some of the heart-shaped ornaments are filled with gingham, stripes, dots, tartan or chevron. The heart-shaped ornaments use two to five colors and are marked beginner or intermediate; one marked beginner is a fair first project. The state squares include Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Kentucky and Maine, each a filled shape with a single heart inside it.
