Lavender needlepoint patterns

Lavender two ways: a bunch of thin stems, each ending in a spike of buds, in five styles, and a lavender field with a house, in four.

The bunch is one joined object, with small buds stacked up each spike. The field is rows of purple lavender running up to a house with a terracotta roof, with a tree or two beside it; in the classic and preppy designs it is a round scene. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, and most can be made round. In the bunch the stems are thin lines, so count them first and set the buds on them. In the field, count the house first and run the rows down from it. Most are marked intermediate.
