Magnolias needlepoint patterns

One southern magnolia bloom seen a little from above, with its leaves: a large open cup of six to nine broad, thick petals.

It is drawn in several styles. Most are four inches square on 18 mesh. Where pale petals are shaded with close colors, compare the threads first, and choose a ground dark enough to show the flower; most are marked intermediate.
