Narwhals needlepoint patterns

A narwhal in profile, level: a plump, rounded whale body with a blunt head and one long straight spiral tusk pointing forward.

It has no fin on the back, a small flipper, and a tail with two rounded flukes. It is drawn in several styles. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, and some can be made round. The tusk is two stitches thick with its twist shown stitch by stitch, so count it first.
