The others include birthday rosettes, cupcakes, piñatas, party blowers, wedding cakes, disco balls, boomboxes, microphones on stands, cassette tapes and dumpster fires. On 18 mesh most finish four inches square. A small square makes an ornament or a coaster for the person being celebrated. Every design here is worked in tent stitch, the small slanting stitch that fills one square of the chart. They are not all simple: each page gives its level, and the designs marked beginner are the place to start if you are new to tent stitch.
