About this pattern

A half-round slice of watermelon with a face, cut side up, in soft pastels. The flesh is pale pink edged in a deeper pink, inside a band of pale green rind and a deeper green skin that follow the curve underneath. Eight small tan seeds stand in two rows across the top, and under them are two dark eyes, a one-stitch mouth and a pink blush mark at each side. No dark outline. The left side mirrors the right exactly. Full crosses only. It is 39 by 20 stitches and uses six thread colors.
