About this pattern

A half-round slice of watermelon, cut side up, drawn to be stitched on black fabric. The flesh is one flat red inside a band of white rind and a gray outer skin that follow the curve underneath. The seven seeds are not stitched: each is a small drop-shaped gap where the black cloth shows through, four in an upper row and three below. There is no outline, and the left side mirrors the right exactly. Full crosses only. It is 47 by 24 stitches and uses three thread colors.

47 stitches wide by 24 high: 845 full cross stitches in 3 DMC colors (Red 321, Light Steel Gray 318, Very Light Pearl Gray 762).
