A mason jar with a screw lid is seen from the front, with one spray of five flowers standing inside it. The jar outline and the lid and screw band are teal stem stitch, so the jar is only a line on the cloth. A green stem rises from the bottom of the jar to the large raspberry flower under the neck; a stem on each side reaches a purple flower a little lower, and below them a stem on each side reaches a small blue flower. Two pairs of long leaves in fishbone stitch spring from the middle stem. The stems are stem stitch, every petal is one lazy daisy stitch, and each flower center is a yellow French knot.

- In a 3 or 4 inch hoop the French knots are drawn smaller than about 2 mm (a little over 1/16 in). Use one strand of floss for them there, or choose a larger hoop.
The pattern is drawn inside a circle about half an inch (1.3 cm) smaller all around than the hoop.
