Needlepoint angel patterns

Angels and cherubs: an angel standing in a long robe, and a cherub, a winged child's head in the manner of old carved cherubs.

The angel's robe flares to a wide hem. The cherub is drawn in four styles and the angel in two. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, the usual size for a tree ornament, and most can be made round. If one is for Christmas, begin early: finishing takes time on top of the stitching.
