Needlepoint chevron patterns

Chevrons, zigzags and herringbone: skinny, bold, wide and one shaded from dark to light, most in two or three colors.

Most are four-inch squares on 18 mesh that repeat, so they can be carried on to any size. A zigzag is an easy thing to count, because it repeats and a miscount shows at once. Most are marked beginner and come in several sets of colors, and a few are made as a belt, a key fob or a mini stocking.
