Easter eggs needlepoint patterns

Decorated Easter eggs: one upright egg, and a jeweled egg on its stand in the manner of the imperial Russian Easter eggs.

The decorated egg comes in several styles. All are four inches square on 18 mesh and can be made as a round ornament. An egg has no straight edges, so count the outline first and fill the decoration inside it afterward.
