Ladybug needlepoint patterns

A ladybug seen from above: a round body with a line down the middle, spots as mirrored pairs, a small head and six short legs.

It is mirrored or nearly mirrored, and the head has short antennae. It is drawn in several styles; there is also a round ornament that the head and body fill, with no legs or antennae, and a design of a small ladybug on a large pink rose. The others are four inches square on 18 mesh, and most of them can be made round or as an eight-inch mini pillow on 13 mesh. Many take few colors and most are marked beginner.
