Most show a Texas longhorn steer's head, facing front, so that it mirrors, with very long horns, the pair far wider than the head.
The horns run out almost level, dip, and turn up at the tips. The longhorn is drawn in several styles. All are four inches square on 18 mesh. The horns are long and only a few stitches thick, so count one, check it, and mirror it; each page gives its level and thread list.
