Sun needlepoint patterns

Most show the sun with a calm face, facing front inside a true circle with its rays mirrored, or the sun and moon together, most sharing one disc.

Both are drawn in several styles. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, and most can be made as a round ornament. Where yellows and golds sit close together, lay the threads side by side before you start and label them.
