The Christmas sweets are candy canes, gingerbread men and houses, peppermint candies and Christmas cookies; most of the rest are for any time of year. One donut is charted as a round ornament, the only piece here that is not a square. All but that one are four inches square on 18 mesh, and most can be made round: a cookie, a donut and a peppermint are among those, and the plainest of them are marked beginner. To finish a round ornament at home you wrap the stitched piece over board, back it with fabric and add a cord and a loop.
