Westies needlepoint patterns

Most show a westie's head, facing front: a round, fluffy head like a chrysanthemum, small pointed upright ears, button eyes and a dark nose.

It is drawn in several styles. All are four inches square on 18 mesh and most can be made round; at least one also as an eight-inch mini pillow on 13 mesh. A pale dog must sit on a ground with color in it, so choose a background with plenty of contrast.
