Dartboard seen face on: preview of the stitched design

Download free PDFPDF, US Letter · 18 KB

A dartboard is seen face on: a board of twenty wedges, ten dark and ten left as bare cloth by turns. The dark wedges are navy long and short stitch, a filling of stitches of uneven length that lock into one another. Two rings cross the wedges, the treble ring halfway out and the double ring at the outer edge; in each, the red pieces lie on the dark wedges and the green pieces on the bare ones. At the center the red bull sits inside the green ring round the bull, and the navy rim of the board closes the circle. The pieces of both rings, the bull, its ring and the rim are satin stitch.

Getting it onto your fabric

The PDF holds the pattern twice at actual size: once as drawn, and once mirrored for an iron-on transfer pen. Print it at 100% with scaling off and check the one-inch square (25.4 mm) with a ruler before you trace. How to transfer a pattern explains tracing, carbon paper and the other ways.
