Little castle with pennant towers: preview of the stitched design

Download free PDFPDF, US Letter · 9 KB

A little castle is seen from the front, the same left and right. A tall tower stands in the middle with a round-headed brown gate in two halves at its foot and a brown window above, and a shorter tower with one brown window stands at each end. The towers are courses of dark gray stones, each with a wider head under a pointed red cap. Pale blue-gray walls with two battlements each join the towers, and each end tower flies a red pennant on a brown staff, pointing outward. A strip of green ground runs under the castle. The pennant staffs are stem stitch and everything else is satin stitch.

Getting it onto your fabric

The PDF holds the pattern twice at actual size: once as drawn, and once mirrored for an iron-on transfer pen. Print it at 100% with scaling off and check the one-inch square (25.4 mm) with a ruler before you trace. How to transfer a pattern explains tracing, carbon paper and the other ways.
