Download free PDFPDF, US Letter · 11 KB

One strawberry is seen from the front, its point down, with a curved stem of leaves below and beside it. The strawberry is red long and short stitch, with gold French knot seeds in rows of five, four, three, two and one from the top down. At its top sit a calyx of five satin stitch leaves around a French knot and a short satin stitch stalk. The stem is dark green stem stitch and carries pairs of satin stitch leaves, each leaf half light green and half dark green, as are the calyx leaves. Each end of the stem holds a blossom of five white satin stitch petals around a gold French knot.

Getting it onto your fabric

The PDF holds the pattern twice at actual size: once as drawn, and once mirrored for an iron-on transfer pen. Print it at 100% with scaling off and check the one-inch square (25.4 mm) with a ruler before you trace. How to transfer a pattern explains tracing, carbon paper and the other ways.
