Twin cherries with leaves: preview of the stitched design

Download free PDFPDF, US Letter · 12 KB

Two cherries hang side by side, each the mirror of the other. Their two brown stalks bow out from one short spur at the top, where a pair of leaves arches out to left and right. The cherries are red long and short stitch, each with one small pink shine in satin stitch near its top. The stalks and the spur are satin stitch, and so are the leaves, each leaf half light green and half dark green.

Getting it onto your fabric

The PDF holds the pattern twice at actual size: once as drawn, and once mirrored for an iron-on transfer pen. Print it at 100% with scaling off and check the one-inch square (25.4 mm) with a ruler before you trace. How to transfer a pattern explains tracing, carbon paper and the other ways.
