Samplers hand embroidery patterns

Samplers to embroider, round, square and in rows, each with several kinds of ornament and several stitches on one cloth.

Six here are round, with a dahlia, a heart, an eight-point star, a sunflower or six tulips in the center and rings of ornament round it, among them berries on a waving stem, woven wheel roses, satin stitch diamonds and triangles, small hearts, buttonhole stitch scallops and a fringe of leaves. One sets nine hearts of six kinds in three rows. One is a square set on its point, with tulips and hearts inside a leafy vine. One is a band sampler of seven rows, among them a row of five tulips.
