Pickle needlepoint patterns

One pickle, upright or on a diagonal, or three standing in a jar, in several styles: each a cylinder with rounded ends.

The pickles are slightly curved in some, with paler lengthwise stripes in some and bumps shown in most as pairs of stitches in a regular scatter. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, and three can be made round. A pickle is an old joke of a Christmas ornament; levels run from beginner to intermediate.
