Travel needlepoint patterns

Mostly places and what you carry to them: the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, a city skyline, state shapes with a heart, a suitcase and a passport.

Also here are the Gateway Arch, the Golden Gate Bridge and row houses. The row houses are three side by side, the suitcase has travel stickers and the passport has a ticket tucked into the top. The Eiffel Tower, the skyline, the Gateway Arch, the Golden Gate Bridge, the row houses, the suitcase and the passport are each drawn in several styles. The states include Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Kentucky and Maine, each a filled shape with one heart inside it, in three to six styles apiece.

Other places include Mount Vernon, canal houses above the water, a white church with a blue dome, a house above rows of lavender, an A-frame cabin between two pines, and single views of the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls and the northern lights. Boston's State House with its gold dome and a gray shingled windmill with white lattice sails are each drawn in two styles. Wellesley's stone town hall has a round tower at each corner, and a white Key West house stands behind a picket fence, with a palm and a rooster. All are four inches square on 18 mesh, and some can also be made as a Christmas stocking. Levels run from beginner to advanced, and many are marked beginner. They take from three colors to fifteen; each page gives its level and its thread list.
