Border hand embroidery patterns

Borders to embroider: edgings to run along a hem, a towel end or the edge of a tablecloth, corners to turn them and frames.

There are rows of flowers, hearts, stars, cherries and Christmas lights, vines of leaves, ivy, grapes and pea pods, sprigs of laurel and olive, a chain of diamonds, a Greek key, a Celtic plait, scallops and a ribbon of bows. A length is drawn once, to trace again end to end for as long a border as you need.

There are also corners of leaves, diamonds and Celtic knotwork drawn as a right angle, and frames of key pattern, diamonds and linked spirals that go all the way round.
