A wavy vine turns through a corner and carries seven forget-me-nots. One flower sits in the corner itself, where the two arms of the vine meet, and three more stand along each arm, one on every crest of the wave. A leaf rises from every dip between two flowers, and one more leaf lies behind the corner flower and points out to the corner. The vine is dark green stem stitch. Each flower is five blue satin stitch petals round a gold French knot, and each leaf is satin stitch in two halves, one dark green and one light green. It fits the corner of a napkin or a handkerchief.

- In a 3 inch hoop the French knots are drawn smaller than about 2 mm (a little over 1/16 in). Use one strand of floss for them there, or choose a larger hoop.
The pattern is drawn inside a circle about half an inch (1.3 cm) smaller all around than the hoop.
