Mistletoe bunch with a bow: preview of the stitched design

Download free PDFPDF, US Letter · 27 KB

A bunch of mistletoe hangs from a red bow with two sweeping tails. Three stems fan from under the knot, each with two pairs of leaves and a round white berry at every joint, six berries in all. Every leaf is two satin stitch halves, one in a lighter and one in a darker green, that meet on its center vein, and the stems, the berries and the bow are satin stitch too.

Size and details

Intermediate. Satin stitch over about a fifth of the cloth in a 6 inch hoop.

Getting it onto your fabric

The PDF holds the pattern twice at actual size: once as drawn, and once mirrored for an iron-on transfer pen. Print it at 100% with scaling off and check the one-inch square (25.4 mm) with a ruler before you trace. How to transfer a pattern explains tracing, carbon paper and the other ways.
