Dog house with a heart: preview of the stitched design

Download free PDFPDF, US Letter · 8 KB

A dog house is seen from the front with a daisy at each side. The red roof comes to a point over a red heart, and brown scallops hang under each slope. The brown walls hold a brown arched doorway, and boards run across the front and stop at the doorway. Each daisy has white petals round a gold middle on a green stalk with two leaves, and green ground runs under the house and both daisies. The walls, the scallops and the stalks are stem stitch and the boards are back stitch. The roof, the heart, the doorway, the petals, the middles and the ground are satin stitch, and the leaves are fishbone stitch.

Size and details

Getting it onto your fabric

The PDF holds the pattern twice at actual size: once as drawn, and once mirrored for an iron-on transfer pen. Print it at 100% with scaling off and check the one-inch square (25.4 mm) with a ruler before you trace. How to transfer a pattern explains tracing, carbon paper and the other ways.
