Download free PDFPDF, US Letter · 7 KB

An apple with a stalk and a leaf sits on two closed books, stacked and seen a little from above so the top cover, the banded spines and the page edges all show. The books and the apple are stem stitch outlines, the bands and page edges are back stitch, the stalk is satin stitch and the leaf is outlined with a back stitch vein.

Size and details

Getting it onto your fabric

The PDF holds the pattern twice at actual size: once as drawn, and once mirrored for an iron-on transfer pen. Print it at 100% with scaling off and check the one-inch square (25.4 mm) with a ruler before you trace. How to transfer a pattern explains tracing, carbon paper and the other ways.
