An engagement ring stands inside two laurel branches tied with a bow. The band of the ring is gold, with a gold setting at its top that holds the point of the stone. The stone has six facets, blue and pale blue-gray by turns. The two branches rise from a pink bow at the foot and curve up on either side of the ring, leaving the top open; each has nine leaves, every leaf half dark green and half light green on a dark green stem. The stems are stem stitch. The leaves, the bow, the band of the ring, the setting and the facets of the stone are all satin stitch.
