About this pattern

A brown owl facing forward in a black graduation cap, standing on a stack of three books. The owl has two large round white eyes with square black pupils, a small gold beak, a pale tan breast and gold feet. The cap is a mortarboard with a gray top, pulled down to the owl's eyes, with a gold cord and tassel hanging at the right. The books lie flat: a red one with gold bands on top, a blue one showing its white page edges in the middle and a dark gray one with gold bands at the bottom. Apart from the tassel and the middle book, the left side mirrors the right. Full crosses only.

33 stitches wide by 55 high: 1,266 full cross stitches in 9 DMC colors (Black 310, Dark Pewter Gray 413, Very Dark Hazelnut Brown 869 and 6 more).
