About this pattern

A pink lotus, or water lily, seen from the side and resting on a low band of turquoise water. Seven pointed petals fan out from one level base line: an upright middle petal, a pair leaning beside it, a second pair leaning further and a lowest pair lying along the water. The middle petal and the pair beside it are pale pink with deeper pink tips; the outer pairs are deeper pink with dusky rose tips. Five short ripples of lighter turquoise lie on the water. The left half mirrors the right. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 59 by 33 stitches and uses six thread colors.
