About this pattern

A string of five triangular pennants hanging points down from one straight navy tape: three in red and white stripes and two in navy with white stars, taking turns. The stripes run down each pennant and the stars are single white stitches, six to a pennant. Every pennant is the same size and the band is the same from either end. A narrow band for the top of a frame, a towel band or a card for the Fourth of July; it can be repeated end to end. It is a strip and does not go all the way round. Full crosses only. It is 63 by 13 stitches and uses three thread colors.

63 stitches wide by 13 high: 481 full cross stitches in 3 DMC colors (Very Dark Navy Blue 939, Winter White 3865, Red 321).
