A round scene, stitched edge to edge: three mallard drakes fly up to the right in a line, one above the next, against a pale gold sky. Each has a green head, a yellow bill, a white collar, a chestnut breast, a gray body and wings and a white tail. At the lower right three brown cattails stand on green stalks among long leaves, above a green bank and blue water with pale ripples. Dark brown outline around the ducks. Full crosses only. It is 61 by 61 stitches and uses nine thread colors.
